Microneedling

Microneedling (also known as skin needling or collagen induction therapy) is a skin treatment designed to achieve a more youthful appearance and get rid of fine lines or acne scarring.

Through stimulating collagen production, microneedling can remove blemishes, smooth out wrinkles and reduce the appearance of scars. Microneedling can also be used to minimise the appearance of stretch marks.

How does it work?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure for your skin. Thin needles make tiny holes in the top layer of your skin which stimulates the skin’s healing process, and as a result produces more collagen and elastin. These proteins keep your skin firm and smooth.

Most people get microneedling on their face, but you can also get it on your legs, back, neck or other areas where you notice damaged or aging skin. Multiple treatments would be required to achieve your desired result.

How much does it cost and how long does it take?

A single microneedling treatment session takes about 1 hour and starts at $300.
